"This is the first Cardenas in Arizona," Adam Salgado, chief marketing officer for Cardenas Markets LLC.
There are other stores in California and under the name Los Altos Ranch Market in Phoenix.
Cardenas Markets offers a buffet, kitchen "La Cocina", coffee and juice bar, as well as a bakery, a Tortilleria and meats, cheese and produce sections. There are items, such as Tamales and Tortillas, that are made from scratch and produced daily, according to Salgado.
