The Pima County Sheriff's Department is investigating the deaths of two men found at a residence west of Tucson.

The department has identified the two men as 45-year-old Carlos Moses Mendoza and 48-year-old Javier Chacon Gomez.

At around noon, deputies responded to a report of a man down at the residence in the 2700 block of South Desert Rose, which is near South San Joaquin Road and West Bopp Road.

Deputies found the two men dead with obvious signs of trauma inside, said Deputy James Allerton, a public information officer.

Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1. Anonymous tips can be submitted to 88-CRIME.
