Thursday either a double-murder or a murder/suicide occurred on S Desert Rose Dr, less than 500 yards from my home. Nowhere was this mentioned in neither my Thursday nor Friday print edition of the 'Star' and I had to go online to tucson.com to find a very small blurb about this.
I subscribe to the 'Star' for local news, but your print editions mentioned had little local news. I would expect a local reporter covering crime to be on top of this. The two possible crimes are very different; if it is the former, there's a killer on the loose.
Our neighborhood may be rural, but we're not in the sticks. We want to know if we need to be concerned even more for our safety. The Pima County Sheriff's department is handling this case. We expect the 'Arizona Daily Star' to be our eyes and ears.
