An overnight house fire displaced two people and killed 4 puppies, Tucson Fire officials say.

Four puppies were overcome by smoke during an overnight fire on Tucsonโ€™s south side, officials say.

The late-night fire had burned one room and was spreading into the rest of the house when firefighters arrived at the house near South Park Avenue and East 33rd Street, Tucson Fire officials say.

The fire was under control in about 15 minutes.

Two people were displaced and two more pets were still unaccounted for Monday morning, officials said in a news release.
