A man has died from his injuries sustained in vehicle collision Jan. 10, Tucson police said.

Robert Stace, 83, was turning onto North Craycroft Road in a 2009 Toyota Corolla when the vehicle was struck by a 2004 Ford F-150 heading westbound on Speedway Boulevard.

A female passenger was traveling in the vehicle with Stace and sustained serious injuries from the collision, a department news release said. The driver of the truck was not injured.

Police determined neither speed or impairments were factors in the accident. Stace was pronounced dead at a local hospital on Jan. 19.

It is the fourth fatality from a vehicle collision in 2018, police said.
