A car caught on fire at a Mercedes-Benz dealership Wednesday afternoon, officials say.

According to the Tucson Fire Department, a car that was at the dealership at 6350 E. Grant Road for maintenance caught on fire about 2 p.m.

Firefighters were able to pull hoselines to the back of the building to extinguish the blaze and save the remaining inventory.

One dealership employee was taken to the hospital with minor burns. No firefighters were injured in the incident.

It is currently unknown why the car caught on fire, though fire crews were able to put the fire out quickly, a department spokeswoman said.

No further information has been released.
