The death of a man whose body was found earlier this week has been determined to be a homicide and Tucson police say they are asking for information to help solve the case.

Just after 7 a.m. Wednesday police say the body of Devon Craig Frank, 33, was found in a common area of an apartment complex in the 1300 block of West Ajo Way, west of Interstate 19, according to a Tucson police news release Friday.

The body appeared to have physical trauma, the release said.

The next day an autopsy determined that Frank had been shot and that his death was a homicide, the release said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME, the anonymous tips line.

The killing marks the fifth homicide in Tucson so far in 2024, police said.
