A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Friday in midtown Tucson, police report.

The collision occurred at about 2:15 p.m. in the 3900 of North Campbell Avenue, near East Roger Road.

Tucson Police say a 2002 Toyota Tacoma was headed north on Campbell and tried to make a left turn into a private driveway, turning in front of a 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and causing the collision.

Jason Allen Woodhouse, 44, was pronounced dead at the scene. He had not been wearing a helmet, police said.

No one else was injured.

An officer determined the 72-year-old driver of the Tacoma was not impaired, and no charges or citations have been issued, police said.
