Summer Heat (copy)

Some areas in Tucson got their share of rain yesterday, but that may not be the case today.

Chances for rain today are very slim, but are expected to increase next week — though only by a bit.

According to the National Weather Service, during this year's monsoon season so far, areas in Southeastern Arizona are around 20 to 25 percent below the average amount of rainfall. The rainy season comes to a close near the end of September.
