A man is now charged the killing of his wife and teen daughter in an attack Friday afternoon at a house southeast of Tucson that also left his son seriously wounded, officials say.

Hernando Enriquez, 44, was arrested in the killing of Sandra Enriquez, 43, Isabelle Enriquez, 15, and the attempted killing of his son, Deputy Cody Gress said in a news release late Saturday.

The son’s name and age was not released by deputies.

The case started about 4 p.m. Friday when the son called for help from a neighbor’s home.

Deputies went to the family home in the 400 block of North Tomasita Drive, south of Interstate 10 in the Whetstone Ranch area.

Deputies found the bodies of the mother and daughter inside the house.

A short time later they found Hernando Enriquez in a culvert nearby. He also had serious injuries, Gress said.

Detectives continue to investigate.
