Sierra Vista police arrested a man wanted on charges of kidnapping, robbery, burglary, and aggravated assault.Β 

Police arrested Tyler "Goofy" Nahoopii, 24, on Dec. 16 on suspicion of first-degree burglary and aggravated assault in connection with a Nov. 10 shooting,Β the Sierra Vista Police Department said in a news release Monday.Β 

A man was shot at multiple times after a group of angry men confronted him at his home, police said. None of the rounds struck him. Nahoopii was charged with first-degree burglary and aggravated assault.Β 

Another Sierra Vista resident police suspect was involved in the shooting, Juan Laborin Rodriguez, 20, was arrested the day of the shooting. He was charged with three counts of attempted murder, five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, five counts of discharging a weapon within city limits, and one count of misconduct with a weapon as a prohibited possessor.Β 

Nahoopii also was arrested on a warrant issued for a Nov. 13 kidnapping and robbing of a woman. A grand jury indicted him on two counts of robbery and two counts of kidnapping.Β
