Deputies were at Cienega High School Wednesday morning after reports of more than one person being seen with a firearm, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said.

No weapons had been found, according to department news release, but deputies did take people into custody, the release said.

Cienega, 12775 E. Mary Ann Cleveland Way, in Vail, remained in "shelter-in-place" status as a precaution while deputies searched the school and surrounding area, the release said.

There were no injuries and no additional individuals were being sought, the release said.
