Marco Herrera, Concepcion Fuentes

Tucson police have found a 61-year-old woman who witnesses said was kidnapped by her son at an east side residence on Thursday afternoon.

The woman's 26-year-old son, who witnesses say forced her into a car at gunpoint during an alleged domestic violence incident, is still at large, according to a tweet from the Tucson Police Department.

At about 2:30 p.m., police responded to the domestic violence call at a home in the 1500 block of North Alamo Avenue, and learned from witnesses that 26-year-old Marco Herrera had been involved in an altercation with his mother, Concepcion Fuentes, Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson Police Department spokesman, said in a news release.

During the incident, several witnesses saw Herrera point a gun at Fuentes and force her into a car, before driving away from the home, Dugan said.

The vehicle involved was later located in the 5800 block of East 23rd Street, Dugan said.

Fuentes was located unharmed this morning, but police are still searching for Herrera, who is described as 5'11" tall, 160 pounds, with close-cut black hair and a possible mustache and goatee.

Herrera should be considered armed and dangerous, and anyone who has information about their whereabouts is asked to call 911.
