A 44-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Friday night in Sierra Vista, police said.

Shortly after 10 p.m. police were notified of a motorcycle crash at Arizona 92 and St. Andrews Drive.

Police determined that David Phillips was southbound on Arizona 92 on his motorcycle when he was struck head-on by a minivan driven by Branden Puffer, 21, of Sierra Vista. The minivan was northbound on Arizona 92 when Puffer entered the southbound lane while making a left turn at St. Andrews, Sierra Vista police said in a news release.

Phillips was killed, police said.

No citations have been issued as the investigation continues.
