A 72-year-old man has died days after a head-on crash in northwest Tucson the weekend after Thanksgiving, officials say.

About 11:30 a.m. Nov. 25, Terry Garmon was driving a Honda SUV east on West Ruthrauff Road west of North La Cholla Boulevard when he swerved into westbound traffic, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department said Monday in a news release.

The Honda collided head-on with a Ford F250 pick-up.

Garmon was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The two people in the pickup truck were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening, the release said.

Garmon died Sunday from injuries he suffered in the wreck, the release said.

The investigation continues, but both speed and impairment have been ruled out, the release said.
