Red light cameras

β€œYes on Prop. 201” backers have asked for access to American Traffic Solutions’ videos to see if the thieves can be ID’d.

The group trying to get rid of Tucson’s red-light cameras says more than 100 signs have been stolen and 20 have been vandalized.

The group’s β€œYes on Prop. 201” roadside signs have been written on to show the word β€œno” scrawled over a portion of their slogan.

Theft and vandalism of campaign signs is common during election season.

The group has asked the company that operates the city’s red-light cameras, American Traffic Solutions, for access to their videos to see if the culprits have been caught on film.

The group had put up their signs in each of the eight intersections in Tucson that have red-light cameras.
