It's National Chocolate Cake Day! So to honor the occasion, let's talk about dessert.

With an extensive selection of bakeries and dessert spots, the folks at USA Today Travel say that Tucson is a go-to place for lovers of all things sweet.

That's why they narrowed down the list for their readers in the post, "10 Best Dessert Spots in Tucson for Irresistible Sweets."

Some old favorites are on the list, like Chocolate Iguana and Café à La C'Art, but some new spots also made the cut, such as downtown's Pie Bird Bakery and Cafe.

And with chocolate cake being a staple in the dessert world, there's a good chance that most of these spots will have it on hand, in the event that you want to celebrate on chocolate cake's special day.

Check out the list here and tell us what you think. What's your favorite dessert spot?
