The Screamery's ice cream nachos, $5, have Cherry Cobbler and chocolate Triple Play ice cream, hot fudge and sugary "wet walnuts" on top.

Temperatures are rising again, with triple-digit heat expected to last through the weekend. Conditions like these call for ice cream, and luckily for Tucson, one website says that we've got some of the best options right here in town.

Only in Your State has curated a list of nine ice cream sundae options in Arizona that are "all you need in your life" during these hot summer months, the website says.

The great news for Tucsonans is that two of the list entries can be found in our town, and better still, one of the spots has a few locations.

The first entry on the list is The Screamery, which now has four locations across town.

"We know you’ll be singing this place praises after just one bite of their handcrafted ice cream," Only in Your State's article says, suggesting that visitors try a bowl of ice cream nachos or a sundae with espresso poured on top of the ice cream.

The next Tucson spot to land on the list is something of a classic, having been started as a Swensen's franchise in 1977 before the owner's left the franchise and changed the name to Sullivan's Eatery and Creamery in 2010.

"Sullivan’s is the perfect place to find comfort food in Tucson and sundaes are just the beginning of that list," Only in Your State says. "Their sundae menu is absolutely massive, so you’re bound to find one you will fall in love with."

Sullivan's is located at 6444 North Oracle Road.
