A second person has been arrested in connection with the August killing of a Tucson man, police say.
Tony Davis, Jr., 19, was taken into custody Tuesday on suspicion of murder in the August killing of Jesus Alfonso Castro Duarte, 22, at a mobile home park, Tucson police said Wednesday in a news release.
Jose Francisco Fernandez, 18, was arrested Sept. 6 on suspicion of murder in the case, police have said.
Police apprehended Davis near South Mission Road and West 36th Street, Wednesdayβs release said.
Davis was booked into the Pima County jail on suspicion of first-degree murder, discharging a firearm at a residence and discharging a firearm within city limits. Bond was set at $1 million, the release said.
The shooting occurred Aug. 16 at a mobile home park in the 800 block of West Prince Road, officials said. Neither a motive nor details about the shooting has been released.
