THEN: This undated photo, top, shows Kinsleyβs Lake, then located along the Old Nogales Highway in Arivaca Junction south of Tucson. Rancher Otho Kinsley built the lake across the road from the Cow Palace restaurant. Before Interstate 19 was built, it was a favorite stop for travelers on the way to Nogales. Kinsley established the 420-acre ranch in 1920. He also supplied stock for the Tucson Rodeo.
