A water main break on South Randolph Way at East 22nd Street Thursday night is expected to be repaired before rush hour traffic Friday morning.

An eight-inch water line was discovered broken at about 7 p.m. Oct. 12, said Fernando Molina, a Tucson Water spokesman.

He said the Reid Park complex is without water, including the zoo.

Two eastbound lanes on 22nd Street at Randolph Way will be shut down until the repairs are completed, Molina said.

It was not known what caused the line to break, said Molina.

No further information was immediately available.
