At least one patient was transported to the hospital with injuries, following a Thursday morning crash on State Route 83 at Sahuarita Road.

Authorities have reopened the intersection of State Route 83 and Sahuarita Road, after traffic was stalled for nearly an hour.

Four people were transported to the hospital with injuries, at least one of whom had to be extricated from a vehicle, said Quentin Mehr, an Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman.

No information regarding the condition of the victims is currently available.
