The Tucson Police Department is asking for the public's assistance locating a suspect in an armed robbery March 21.

Police said the suspect entered a Walgreens at 1880 E. Irvington Road around 8 p.m., filled a handbasket with items and was holding a handgun as he left the store without paying.

Witnesses told police he fired several shots into the air as he got into a small unknown vehicle to flee the scene, the department said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30's and approximately 190 pounds.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to call 88-CRIME and can remain anonymous.
