A man accused of exposing himself to a woman after stopping his vehicle to ask for directions was arrested Friday, UA police said.
The woman had walked away to report the incident at the University of Arizona campus near East First Street and North Mountain Avenue on Thursday. Her description of the incident helped police identify the man's vehicle.
He later admitted to the incident when police questioned him Friday, a UA police news release said.
He is not affiliated with the university, police said.
The man, whose identity was not released, is considered a lead in four investigations of similar incidents on campus this month.
The first occurred Sept. 1 near Arizona Stadium, police said in a tweet. On Sept. 19, there were two reports of a man exposing himself from a vehicle, once near Centennial Hall and also at East First Street and North Mountain Avenue. Authorities learned of another incident Sept. 13 near East Sixth Street and North Highland Avenue.
No threats of violence were made, police said.
In all four incidents, the suspect was described as a Caucasian or Hispanic man in his 20s or 30s, who was driving a white or silver four-door sedan.
