Officials are searching for two men in connection with a robbery at a TJ Maxx in north Tucson.Β

On Thursday, Sept. 20, deputies with the Pima County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of a strong arm robbery at TJ Maxx, 6230 N. Oracle Road. They learned that two men attempted to steal $400 worth of merchandise, said a news release from the department.Β

A loss prevention officer at the store confronted the men and tipped their shopping cart over in an attempt to stop the men from leaving, the release says. One of the men then pushed the officer.

The man picked up approximately $100 worth of merchandise from the floor before leaving the store.

The first man is said to be bald, between 5'7" and 5'9" and 25 to 35 years old. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored University of Arizona sweatshirt, dark-colored shorts, and white tennis shoes.

The second man is estimated to be in the same age and height range, with a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a plaid shirt, black jeans, and white tennis shoes.Β
