A man who was killed in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near Miracle Mile early Tuesday morning was identified as Jeffrey J. Thimgan, authorities said.
Thimgan, 21, was killed when he was driving a Honda vehicle west on I-10 and went off the road and struck a concrete wall at the Miracle Mile overpass, said Quentin Mehr, an Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman.
Thimgan, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene, Mehr said.
The crash occurred at 3:39 a.m.
Investigators do not know why the vehicle went off the road, said Mehr.
No further information was immediately released.
