Pima County Sheriff's auto theft detectives are asking the public for help identifying a man in connection to a burglary of a house on Tucson's northwest side.
On Oct. 6, the burglar stole a 2002 Toyota Camry and the victim's wallet from a house in the 100 block of West River Road, said Deputy Cody Gress, a sheriff's spokesman, in a news release Oct. 24.
The victim told deputies that his credit card was used earlier that morning at a Circle K in the area of North First Avenue and East Fort Lowell Road, Gress said.
Surveillance footage from the convenience store shows a man using the victim's credit card at about 3 a.m. Oct. 6, and the stolen Camry was also captured on video in the parking lot, said Gress.
Gress said detectives are looking for a man described as white and who is in his 40s or 50s. He has short brown hair and a beard, and is about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall. He has a thin build and was last seen wearing a dark blue baseball cap, black tank top and dark blue pants.
