Average new home prices have held steady under $500,000 in Tucson with smaller lots, fewer amenities and homebuilder financing programs contributing to cost reductions.

Median home prices increased in 2023 but remain on the low end of its Western peer cities, according to the Making Action Possible Dashboard, a project of the University of Arizona Economic and Business Research Center.
