Better Business Bureau: The Better Business Bureau Serving Southern Arizona has named the winners of the 2024 BBB Torch Awards for Ethics and BBB Spark Award for Entrepreneurship. The awards recognize organizations and entrepreneurs who exemplify a commitment to honesty, transparency and integrity.

Three Desert View High School students were named the winners of BBBβs Student Ethics Video Contest. Ivan Angulo clinched the $2,000 top prize. Lucy Pacheco scored second place and $1,000. Farah Alghaithi secured third place and $500.
South32: The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona announced that the South32 Hermosa Community Fund has awarded $120,000 to 15 nonprofit organizations in Santa Cruz County.
