Coldwell Banker Realty: The Foothills office of Coldwell Banker Realty raised $2,000 for Veterans for Child Rescue. The funds were the result of a drawing for a painting by an artist who goes by the name b.8th e, who has multiple sclerosis and paints with his fingers. The drawing was hosted by Heather Hutchison and James Clark from Guaranteed Rate Affinity.
Dutch Bros: Dutch Bros locations in Tucson donated $1 from every drink sold on on Nov. 17 to Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Southern Arizona. The organization supports, serves and advocates for children with cancer and other blood disorders, their families, long term survivors, bereaved families, and the professionals that care for them.
Magic Portal Books: Tucson author Riyon Harding has recently unveiled two childrenβs books β βSherman, a Tucson Tortoiseβ and βSedonaβs Questβ β that combine storytelling with virtual reality technology. The books transport readers to well-known local attractions in Tucson and Sedona with the help of a smartphone or tablet. For every book sold online, the publishing company Magic Portal Books, which is owned by Harding, will donate $3 to help the Institute for Better Education Foundation, an Arizona-certified School Tuition Organization.
