Photos: 58th Annual Procession of the Cross
A couple hundred faithful made the annual trek up to Sentinel Peak, following in a Good Friday observance through the stations of the cross, April 18, 2025, Tucson, Ariz. The cross will remain on the mountain through Easter Sunday morning and a sunrise service at the peak starting at 6 a.m.

The Good Friday tradition of bringing the cross and raising it atop the mountain begins the weekend observance of the Easter holiday, concluding with a sunrise service early Sunday morning, starting at 6:00 a.m., at the peak.
