Harrenstien house with a concrete roof that is a series of six hyperbolic paraboloids, north of Tucson, Ariz. It was built in 1963 by engineer Howard Harrenstien and his father, a general contractor.

Harrenstien house was built in 1963 by engineer Howard Harrenstien and his father. The roof as assembled in six pie-shaped sections. The concrete was poured mostly with buckets before moving on to the next section.
