Sept. 15, 2011: Multiple storms flood streets and buildings, force evacuation of homes and keep fire/rescue crews busy with water rescues.
Margarita Vasquez, her husband and children hadn’t finished unpacking their moving boxes when the monsoon storm hit on Thursday. The next day, she was mopping up muddy water in one of the bedrooms of her new home in the 900 block of Medina Avenue on Tucson’s south side.
