Photos: Two-alarm apartment fire in midtown Tucson displaces 6 people

A cat died in a two-alarm apartment fire on Oct. 18, 2022, which displaced six people, according to the Tucson Fire Department.
The first engine company at the Aspen Grove Apartments, 1500 block of S. Woodland Avenue, encountered heavy fire from the first floor spreading to the second floor. The battalion chief called for a second alarm. The fire was under control in just over 20 minutes. There were no injuries.
The Red Cross has been called to assist the displaced residents. Fire cause is under investigation.
