A man suffered life-threatening injuries when shot in Tucson Monday morning, according to police.

There is no suspect in custody after the incident near Grant and Oracle roads at 6 a.m., according to Officer Ray Smith, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.Β 

A description of a possible suspect has not been released.

Smith said businesses in the shooting area are open.

This is an ongoing investigation.
