A judge and four commissioners have been appointed to Pima County Superior Court.

Tracy Miller has been appointed a judge pro tempore. Sandra Bensley, Daniel R. Huff, Derek Koltunovich and Dawn Walton have each been appointed commissioners.

Tracy Miller has over 30 years of experience in the criminal justice system.

Miller most recently served with the Pima County Attorney’s Office in numerous roles including chief of the special victims bureau, where her role included training and mentorship of prosecutors as well as prosecution of special victims’ cases.

Miller is a full time judge dedicated to the criminal bench and its specialty courts.

Sandra Bensley has 17 years of experience as an attorney in probate and criminal law. Most recently she was a partner at Waterfall, Economidis, Caldwell, Hanshaw & Villamana, P.C.

Bensley, a former president of the Pima County Bar Association, has also been an assistant public defender as well as an assistant city prosecutor in Glendale.

Daniel R. Huff was the managing partner at The Huff Law Firm, PLLC, focusing on areas of family and juvenile law, adoptions and estate planning.

Formerly an assistant attorney general for Arizona, Huff has also served as outside counsel for the agency.

Derek Koltunovich has been a practicing attorney at Pima County’s juvenile court for the last 12 years.

Koltunovich led the Family Preservation Legal Clinic at the defender’s office, which is a fund that helps youths and young adults meet their restitution orders.

Dawn Walton has been in the field for the last 30 years. Her most recent position was as a judicial officer in the Maricopa County Superior Court.

Walton has been president and held various other leadership roles at the Arizona Black Bar. She currently chairs the its membership committee. She has also been an attorney advisor for the Social Security Administration.
