A 26-year-old man died after being stabbed during a domestic violence-related fight, Tucson police say.

Randy Allen was stabbed during a fight with a 24-year-old woman about 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 5400 block of East William Boulevard, Tucson police said in a news release. The area is near East Broadway and South Craycroft Road.

Details about the fight were not released by police. However, the pair were arguing when the β€œthe verbal altercation turned physical, and during the physical altercation, Mr. Allen sustained a fatal injury,” the release said.

Allen died at the hospital soon after the stabbing, the release said.

Police say that while the investigation continues, the unidentified woman has not been accused of a crime.
