A 44-year-old Tucson man was arrested in suspicion of several criminal charges after Sahuarita police say he shoplifted, trespassed and shook a random boy.

Robert Dominguez was jailed Friday on suspicion of aggravated assault, possession of a dangerous drug, shoplifting and DUI, police said in a news release.

The incidents started shortly after 2 p.m. when officers went to a gas station after a report of a man acting erratically who failed to pay for merchandise.

The man then walked to a Dairy Queen where he spoke incoherently while shaking a 6-year-old boy who was there with his family, the release said.

About 20 minutes later, police were called to a tile business where workers say a man refused to leave an employees-only area.

Dominguez was taken into custody at the tile business, police say.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sahuarita Police Department at 520-351-4900 during regular business hours, or its tip line 520-445-7847.
