A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in the killing of a teen last week, Tucson police say.
On April 3, Alex Junior Medina, 18, was found shot and wounded inside a car in the 1200 block of West Miracle Mile. He died later at the hospital.
Medina had been shot while meeting someone at nearby Jacobs Park, police said at the time.
On Tuesday investigators searched two homes and then arrested Fabian Nelson Boteo on suspicion of first degree murder, Tucson police said Wednesday in a news release.
No details about what prompted the shooting has been released.
Boteo was booked into the Pima County jail and bond was set at $1 million.
