A 55-year-old man was struck and killed Wednesday night while crossing a street in midtown, Tucson police say.
William Ray Alexander was crossing South Alvernon Way near East 25th Street about 8 p.m. when he was struck by a 2008 Ford F-150, Tucson police said Thursday in a news release.
Alexander died at the crash scene.
