Four teens have been arrested on suspicion of murder and drive-by shooting in connection with the killing of a University of Arizona student at a house party in April, police said.
Erin Jones, 20, was killed and three others were injured April 28 when gunmen fired a barrage of bullets at young people at a house party in the 3200 block of East Fifth Street.

The shooting lasted more than six-and-a-half minutes and investigators have said they recovered more than 80 bullet casings over an area that stretched for more than a mile from the house just east of North Country Club Road.
Over the past six weeks police conducted nearly 200 interviews and “processed a vast amount of evidence,” while investigating the shooting that shook the UA campus, police said Tuesday in a news release.
On May 8, while investigating an unrelated aggravated assault, police say they were able to link Estevan Garcia, 18, to the shooting. Garcia was arrested June 14, the release said.
Investigators then tied three 17-year-olds to the party killing: Tevion Matthew Beale, Marcus Ian Williams and Akeem Alvarez. Each was arrested separately over the past few days on suspicion of first- degree murder and drive-by shooting, the release said.
Police said the four “have been identified as shooters from the vehicle seen in surveillance video which was released to the public on May 14th.”
The four are suspected of driving to the party to find and shoot another group of people. It had nothing to do with any of the University of Arizona students at the party, the release said.
Police said they continue to investigate and are still looking for more people involved in the early morning shooting captured on surveillance footage that showed the chaotic scene as multiple people could be seen fleeing from the party as gunfire was heard in the background.
Police have estimated that more than 200 people were at the party.
