Detectives with the Tucson Police Department have obtained descriptions of three men they suspect were involved in the April 1 sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl.

The Tucson Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying several men suspected of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl on April 1.

The department gave the following account in a news release May 10:

The girl was riding a Route 17 Sun Tran bus on April 1 when she was approached by a man who convinced her to go with him to his home in the 3400 block of North Country Club Road.

While at the home, the girl ingested an unknown substance that caused her to lose consciousness.

She woke up hours later to find herself surrounded by the man and other men, some of whom had sexually assaulted her, according to police.

The victim left the home after the men did.

During their investigation, TPD detectives with the Child Sexual Assault Unit have gathered video evidence from the bus and evidence in the home, and have obtained descriptions of three men they suspect were involved.

The first man was described as older, possibly Hispanic, with blue eyes. The second man was described as a 30- or 40-year-old Caucasian with a muscular build and blue eyes. The third was described as a 20- or 30-year-old Hispanic man with his hair in pigtails, who has a slim build and dark eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call 88-CRIME or detectives at 520-837-7529. Anonymity will be assured if required, police said.
