A 43-year-old man has died days after a gunfight in a neighborhood on Tucson's west side, police say.

Roberto Flores Jr., 43, was wounded about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday during a shootout in the 1400 block of North Hualpai Road, near West Speedway and North Riverview Boulevard, Tucson police said in a news release.

Several people called 911 and reported gunfire and a crash. A resident took Flores to St. Mary's hospital before officers arrived, the release said. He died Sunday.

No details about the shooting have been released and the investigation continues.
