A former Nogales police sergeant who admitted using a Taser on a fellow officer has voluntarily agreed to have his state peace-officer credentials revoked.

Sergio Bon, 43, resigned in March after being placed on administrative leave following a February incident in which he zapped another officer in the crotch with a Taser.

An internal investigation also found that Bon, an 18-year veteran with the department, unholstered his loaded handgun and placed it to the head of the same officer in September or October, according to documents filed with AZPOST, the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board.

AZPOST is scheduled to accept Bon's credential-revoking at its monthly meeting Wednesday in Phoenix.

At that same meeting the board will vote whether to revoke the credentials of Daniel M. Williams, a former Pima County sheriff's deputy who was fired in September after crashing his patrol vehicle on Arizona 86, which killed his dog.

Williams, whose blood-alcohol level was more than three times the DUI level of 0.08, was fired the same day and in January pleaded guilty to DUI and criminal damage, resulting in a 30-day jail sentence and five years of probation, AZPOST records show.

On Wednesday the AZPOST will also vote whether to initiate revocation procedures on:

• Former Pima County Sheriff's Deputy Andrew Loza, 36, who was fired in February after an internal investigation determined he lied in court to get out of a red-light ticket.

• Former Pinal County Sheriff's Deputy Edgar Ellis, 46, who was fired in March after it was found he temporarily skipped out on a repair job for his personal vehicle.

• Former Tombstone Marshal's Office Deputy John Dematteo, 34, who was fired in February 2009 after using a Taser on a suspect without probable cause. Dematteo was later found guilty of assault.
