Two Sierra Vista men were arrested on drug and weapons charges in connection to an ongoing investigation regarding two shootings Christmas Eve.

No one was injured in either incident.

While officers with the Sierra Vista Police Department were investigating the shootings, they arrested David Flores, 25, and Amier Mays, 20, Thursday after a search warrant was served at an apartment complex in the 4200 block of East Busby Drive, according to a news release.

Flores and Mays were both booked into the Cochise County jail. Flores faces possession of marijuana for sale, misconduct with weapons in connection with a drug felony and misconduct with weapons as a prohibited possessor. Mays faces possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, authorities said.

Anyone with information about the shootings is asked to call Sierra Vista Police Detective Tom Ransford at 520-452-7500.

One shooting incident happened near the apartment complex on Busby Drive shortly after 2 a.m. Dec. 24, and the other shooting occurred in the Montebello subdivision near Mediterranean Drive shortly after the first incident, police said. Β  Β
