Two men are facing aggravated assault charges in connection with a shooting at a midtown hookah lounge six weeks ago, police said.

Tiras Hamilton-Morris, 21, and Isaiah Stewart, 19, were taken into custody Feb. 4 and were booked into the Pima County jail, according to a news release Wednesday night.

Hamilton-Morris and Stewart each face two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of aggravated assault with serious physical injury. Stewart also faces a prohibited possessor charge, police said.

The incident occurred Dec. 30, 2016 when multiple gunshots were fired outside Moonlight Hookah Lounge, 4509 E. 22nd St., at about 2:30 a.m. when a group of people were denied entry.

The group went to the parking lot where shots were fired and one man suffered life-threatening injuries. ย ย
