David Frodsham

A Sierra Vista man has been arrested in connection with multiple felonies related to sexual exploitation of children, authorities said.

David Frodsham, 59, turned himself into police on Thursday, and is facing charges of sexual conduct with a minor, conspiracy to commit sexual conduct with a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor,Β said Marco Madrid, a Sierra Vista Police Department spokesman.

Frodsham was identified during a federal investigation into the distribution of child pornography on the internet, and on April 20, Sierra Vista police served a search warrant on his home, located in the 1200 block of Sunflower Way, Madrid said.

Evidence seized from the home and from other sources led to the issuance of an arrest warrant, and after consulting with his attorney, Frodsham turned himself in. He's being held in Cochise County jail on a $500,000 bond, Madrid said.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information about possible unidentified victims should call Detective Thomas Ransford at 452-7500.
