Diana Lee Sala

A 31-year-old Sierra Vista woman was arrested Thursday on drug and weapon violations at a hotel, authorities said.

Diana Lee Sala was booked into the Cochise County jail on suspicion of possession of a dangerous drug, possession of a narcotic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a deadly weapon in the commission of a drug offense, and possession of a deadly weapon as a prohibited possessor.

Multiple anonymous sources provided information to the Sierra Vista Police Department indicating that Sala was selling heroin and methamphetamine out of a hotel in the 1500 block of Fry Boulevard, according to a news release.

A search warrant was served at a hotel room registered in Sala's name shortly before 11:30 a.m. Thursday and detectives found black tar heroin, methamphetamine and multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia, states the release. Detectives also found a rifle under a bed.

On Sept. 30, Sala also was arrested on drug violations after a search warrant was served at her home in the 400 block of South Carmichael Avenue, said police.
