A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle and suffered non-life threatening injuries Thursday on Tucson's north side.

The bicyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was a man in his 40s, said Capt. Brian Keeley of the Northwest Fire District.

Paramedics were dispatched at 7:45 p.m. to the 4100 block of North Flowing Wells Road, near West Roger Road, said Keeley.

The man was treated and taken to Banner-University Medical Center Tucson.

Pima County Sheriff's deputies were investigating.
