The case of former Tucson fire captain David Watson, who was convicted earlier this year for killing his ex-wife, her mother and her mother's friend, will be featured in an episode of "Dateline NBC" on Friday, May 19.
Watson was sentenced April 19 to 16 years in prison for killing his ex-wife Linda Watson; a life sentence for killing her mother, Marilyn Cox; and another life sentence for killing Coxβs friend, Renee Farnsworth.
The March conviction was issued during Watson's second trial in Pima County Superior Court, after his first trial last year ended in a hung jury.
The "Dateline" episode, which airs at 8Β p.m. on NBC is called "Secrets of the Desert."
